The late Kenny Rogers would’ve raised a glass at Dealing’s Done stylish win today in the GRADY PROJECTS QTIS Two-Year-Old Maiden Handicap over 1100 metres at the Gold Coast!

After promising runs, the 2yo son of Better Than Ready did look to have this race at his mercy, but as we all know in small fields things can go wrong.

For a couple of strides in the straight it did look like things were going wrong, as jockey Jaden Lloyd searched for room but once the gap opened the colt strode through, lengthening his stride, and on the line he was far too good for his opposition.

Jaden has always had a good wrap on this youngster, and his confidence was justified today, and no doubt we will see him out over a longer journey at some stage in the future.

Trainers John and Sheila placed this horse beautifully to win today, and his owners across the countryside were all delighted, so congratulations to them and the team.

With 4 wins, 7 placings, 1 fourth, and 2 fifths out of the last 16 starts, this means that owners have earnt prizemoney 14 times from the last 16 races, so the team is racing well. and we look forward to more winners!

Kenny says hi, and raises a glass!
