Sheezinajam appreciated the step up in journey to 1900m, by smashing the field by 7.25 lengths yesterday at Kilcoy.
With Josh Oliver back aboard, the race was hardly ever in doubt after she commenced very strongly to lead, and on the tight turning track, (the Moonee Valley of the North!) was able to maintain a steady but comfortable tempo.
Prior to the turn she was travelling strongly whilst her rivals were struggling to make ground, and when the brakes were released she put her ears back and charged away to win most impressively.
A strong turnout of owners were present, which was terrific, and now the good challenge will be for John and Sheila to find another suitable race to keep this good fun happening! The mare has done a terrific job, winning 3 of her last 4, and now she is settling in her races she is a much better racehorse.
