An incredible day for Symons Laxon Racing, Jaden Lloyd, and many owners, with a winning treble at the Sunshine Coast!

Taupo Tiger broke his maiden once he stretched to 1800m with a dominant display in race 1, whilst flashy chestnut 2yo Winsome Star was able to put his head down at the right time to win on debut in race 2.

Van Nuys seemed to have every punter in Australia on her back after a tremendous 2nd up performance, and the weight of the nation told in the last 50m, but she found strongly and scrambled in to win by an inch.

This brought up the treble, and That’s All Good tried her hardest to make it number 4, but that would have been too greedy; she made a dash but was unable to finish off and will head for a quick spell,

Talk about a stable on fire; after Knight’s Choice put himself on the map in the Winx Guineas last week you could justify a quieter outcome this week, but form and confidence are contagious and the finishing line was our friend.

Jaden continued his extraordinary strike rate with 40 rides for the stable this season for 13 wins (33%) and 7 more placings (50%) for a 75% return on investment for punters. Quite remarkable!

Congratulations to all concerned, especially John, Sheila and Jaden, and it is days like this that make the early hours and extremely hard work worthwhile!

Watch the video of the replays and hear Sheila talk to Gary Gray….
