A major reason for the success that JSL Racing Australasia has had since arriving in Queensland, is the great partnership formed with apprentice jockey, Sarah Eilbeck.

Sarah is an extremely accomplished horse woman, having ridden trackwork now for 14 years, with experience with national hunt steeplechase trainer Nicky Richards, and UK flat trainers Willie Haggas, Mark Johnston and Paul Perry in Australia before coming up to the Sunshine Coast.

She has been licensed since August 2014, and has had 906 rides for 110 wins; an excellent 12.1% strike rate. In addition she has an amazing 35% place strike rate!

Since the relationship with JSL Racing Australasia started, she has had 21 rides for 4 wins and 6 placings, as well as several 4ths, so the statistics are outstanding.

In August 2015, Sarah and David Cullinane were married after being together for 8 years and both have been working with the JSL team for the last few months.

Sheila Laxon commented that both Sarah and Dave have the most amazing work ethics, and are absolutely outstanding with regards to their ability to solve any horse problems out. The best part, of course, is that Sarah has a keen understanding of how to get her horse on race day to produce its very best, as she is so familiar with it after riding work/Jump Outs and Trials prior to tackling the opposition on race day.

The fact that Sarah can also claim 3 kgs in town has produced amazing results for the JSL Racing Australasia team and we certainly are counting our blessings that Sarah chose the Sunshine Coast to be based.

Sarah commented that the experience and knowledge she gains from the team is invaluable to her at this stage of her career. The opportunities given have built a wonderful partnership and great strike rate. It is such a pleasure working with all the team, and being part of standing in the winners circle she is truly grateful.

It is great to see such a partnership working so well and we look forward to continued success.
