In an exciting last to first performance. Denoninator returned to the winner’s enclosure in great style at Wodonga today.

Appreciating the step up in distance to 2000m, the gelding was handled patiently by jockey Casey Bruce settling at the rear after starting from the outside barrier.

With only a slow pace in front, Casey remained calm, and despite the leaders skipping away before the turn, Denoninator charged home and simply outstayed and outclassed the field in a very good effort.

Trainer John Symons was extremely satisfied with the effort, and we can expect the son of Denon and Black Pearl to head back to metropolitan tracks for the remainder of the campaign.

Congratulations to all concerned!
