Quite simple indeed it was for Simply So, who trounced her opposition to win her second race at Sunshine Coast to close 2018 with a bang!
It hadn’t always gone right for the mare, with wet tracks, leaderish tracks and raceday buffeting preventing her from adding sooner to her debut win, but it all fell into place this time.
With Larry Cassidy aboard, she was able to be ridden patiently with cover, and once she was pulled to the outside at the top of the straight, the race was never in doubt.
Trainers John and Sheila were thrilled and believe she can progress, especially on a dry track up to 1200m.
