It’s all systems go at Esprit Racing; the yearling sales are over, and it is head down, backside up again for the entire team!
The horses are all back and gearing up for a return to the racetrack in a month or so, and John and Sheila are delighted with the way they are coming along.
The unraced Testa Rossa colt and Swiss Ace filly are getting ready to trial, and the So You Think/Zali colt has returned from shin soreness to show us his wares.
The older horses in Irish Constabulary and the unlucky but extremely talented Mewstone Rock will look to lead the way in town, as well as Bronzegate, Kiriana, Private Hero and Simply So who should take the next step this time in given their good breaks. New horse to the stable, the well performed Bronzed Venom, (and we welcome his owners to the team), is coming along nicely and will hit the racetrack shortly.
So Dapper, who won a trial handsomely before heading for a quick break, is looking to be in great condition, and we are excited to find out what he can bring when he debuts.
Off the racetrack it has been a great success at the sales, with shares in new purchases by Bel Esprit, Snitzel, Star Witness, Reliable Man and So You Think selling fast. We do have some still available, but we urge you not to wait any longer before you commit; we don’t want you to miss out!
Packages of horses are available from 2.5%, which is a great, economical way of getting to the races more often whilst minimising the cost. It is a great social initiative to get a few friends together, form a syndicate and have some fun racing! Let us know if you need more information.
We held a lovely night for some 30 Victorian based friends of Esprit Racing at the Leveson recently, and we will look to do a similar event at the stable in future.
