An excellent return to form at his preferred track and distance saw Whiskey and Beer swoop late to decisively win the PASG Projects Colts, Geldings and Entires BM58 Handicap over 1200 metres on Friday night.

Ridden by Trudy Thornton, the son of No Nay Never settled on the fence and was taken off the rails before the turn, before waiting for a run that eventually appeared to the outside, and when it did, he quickened nicely to score by 0.3 length.

This was his second win in his 14 starts for $47K prizemoney, and his record at the track and distance is now 5 runs for 2 wins and a 2nd, so he clearly enjoys the spacious Sunshine Coast track, with some give in it.

Congratulations to all!
