An excellent win by Irish Ace today, rushing home from the rear to win the Rumba Beach Resort Bm65 Handicap over 1600m.
Ridden by Craig Robertson, the daughter of Swiss Ace was patiently taken to the rear after jumping from a wide barrier, and despite what looked a slow tempo she was able to outsprint her rivals in what was quite a dominant display.
John Symons mentioned in his post race interview that she is entered in the upcoming Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale, and the well bred 6yo mare should be in high demand. Hopefully she can add to her record of 4 wins and 4 placings from 20 starts for $70,125, in her next run.
