Stunning in terms of her visually exciting charge from virtually last on the turn with 59kg, and stunning in that she had never performed at her best on the slow track that confronted her today.
This was Larry Cassidy’s second of three winners today, and he had the 6yo mare in her usual position well back in the field behind a hectic pace. Importantly, he ensured that she was balanced around the home turn, before making many lengths in the straight to win in a driving finish with the hot favourite.
