In her first run for the Symons Laxon Racing stable, 4yo mare Lost My Nightie put up a very good performance to win the HUME DOORS Maiden Handicap over 1400m at the Sunshine Coast.

Ridden by Samantha Collett, the Defcon mare drew well in barrier 1 and hugged the rail midfield until the straight where she was able to find the gap and charge through strongly to win by half a length.

Congratulations to owners Mr. M W Geraghty, Mr. D J Pyle, Mr. F E Brands for their first win with the stable.

Well done to the team for preparing this girl for a 1400m run first up since May. This is no mean feat, but they were able to have Lika Wreckin’ Ball win on debut over 1600m on Friday night, so a great effort!
