A fabulous result in the Maiden 1400m at the Sunshine Coast on 5th June when Bexstar conclusively dealt with her competitors, winning easily by nearly two lengths, for Barrie and Trish Everard.

It was an excellent effort, on a Heavy 9, after settling in the rear group, with the leaders taking off at breakneck speed to spread the field over a good furlong in the initial stages.

Bexstar started picking them up as she circled the bend and hit the front with 400m to go. She was a little lost with having nothing to follow but Sarah kept her up to her work and she went to the line without looking like she had used many of her gears.

Great team work, as Sarah has done a fabulous job in riding Bexstar in her trackwork, educating her with what she is expected to do on raceday.

Looking forward to seeing what this team can put together as they step up over more ground in the near future.
