The way the lease works:
- Lease is for 3 years with lessees having first right to extend the lease. Obviously upon agreement, if he doesn’t race to expectations the lease can be ceased earlier.
- Instead of an upfront purchase, the lessor/owner relies on prizemoney for a return.
- He will be paid a net 25% of prizemoney including bonuses in Black Type Races, top 4 places in metropolitan races and top 2 places in all other races.
- Lessees only pay the monthly fee to knigghts, average about $220 for each 5% share, and receive their share of the remaining 75%.
