Denoninator appreciated the return to a bigger track and the step up in distance from 1600m to 1800m to win convincingly at the Sunshine Coast today.

Despite missing the start by 4 lengths, testing the friendship with new rider, Micheal Hellyer, the big black gelding strode around the field before the turn and raced to the lead on straightening.

He floated for a while, thinking his work was done, so Micheal had to keep his mind on the job, but he then stretched out to win very well, just some 0.3 seconds off the record.

The result justified the move to freshen up many of the stable horses after a bug went through the stable complex, as Denoninator and some others have responded in very good, if not better form.

We look forward to a further step up in distance and more success for Denoninator and his great owners in his next runs.
